How to Decode a DVB-T Using an Analog TV Card
DVB-T is a European digital television signal, similar to the now-required digital television signal in the United States. DVB-T is short for digital video broadcasting -- terrestrial. You must have a digital tuner card to view this digital-based programming. However, if you have an analog TV card installed on your computer, you can convert and decode the signal, just as you do in the United States, with a digital-to-analog converter box.
Instructions
1
Connect the cable running from the antenna into the "In" port on the digital-to-analog converter box.
2
Attach one end of the coaxial cable into the "Out" port on the converter box.
3.Plug the opposite end of the cable into the "In" port on the analog TV card installed on your computer system.
4
Power on the digital-to-analog converter box, then launch the TV viewing software you have installed on the computer. The digital programming now appears on your computer screen.
