How to Reboot Your dreambox Satellite Receiver

Check other TV sets connected to the satellite signal. If another TV is also paused or blank, your satellite service might have been interrupted because of weather or an outage. Call your service provider for assistance. If the problem is isolated to one receiver, it might need to be rebooted.

Turn on the power for the receiver.

Unplug the receiver from the wall.

Wait 15 seconds for the unit to completely power down.

Plug in the receiver.

Wait for the satellite receiver to power on. When the satellite starts, a screen will come up and show you the progress of information downloading to your receiver. This could take up to five minutes to complete.

Call your satellite provider if problems persist.


Tips & Warnings
Do not attempt to make changes to your satellite dish, as the unit must be precisely aimed in order to receive signal. Call your service provider if your dish needs adjustment.
